Andrew McWhir

Data Protection Officer

Andrew has worked in policy roles in government and a professional body for longer than he cares to remember.  Since 2017, he has concentrated on data regulation and the impacts and opportunities of new technologies affecting the practice of law and access to justice. True to his nature, Andrew is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and holds the British Computer Society’s Practitioner Certification in Data Protection and, when not thinking about data, he can usually be found running in the greensand hills near his home or helping to preserve rural pubs from closure.
