Chloë Maltby

Assistive Technology Trainer and Study Skills Tutor

Pronouns: She/her

Chloë has a broad range of teaching experience, having trained as a secondary French teacher and later taught English as a second language.

As a parent to neurodiverse teenaged boys, she became particularly interested in learning differences and trained as Specialist Dyslexia Tutor. This journey has sparked her interest in AT. She believes that any learner can reach their full potential by embracing all that technology has to offer. She also provides support as a SpLD Study Skills Supporter. Chloë is passionate about equality and frustrated that it is not until Higher Education that the state funds this digital approach in education.

Self belief is also a passion of Chloë’s and she ensures those she works with recognise their strengths and appreciate their talent. Chloë has a keen interest in mental health and volunteers as a young person’s mentor for the Surrey Care
Trust.

A keen yogi, Chloë also loves the outdoors and can often be found with her husband, sons and dogs either mountain-biking, walking, paddle boarding or sailing.
